Kirsten HarperBA LLB (Hons) (Associate) After having been employed for 3 years as an Assistant Crown Counsel at the Crown Law Office in Wellington, Kirsten shifted her focus towards general legal practice with a view to experiencing a more practical and client focussed role in the law. That change in focus saw Kirsten move into general practice in Wanganui, where she was based for 5 years between 2005 and early-2010. Kirsten is a Manawatu local, having grown up in Palmerston North, where many of her family are still based. She has enjoyed returning to the area after many years of being based elsewhere. Kirsten is married to Alan, and they have 3 young children. Kirsten enjoys the personal and professional benefits of living in a smaller town, which include involvement in a number of community based organisations, and spending time having fun with her family. Kirsten's primary areas of practice are property law, estate/asset planning, trust and employment law. She can also assist with other general legal matters. Email: kirstenh@barltrops.co.nz |
