Estate Planning Services:
Understandably, protection of your assets is a major concern. If you wish to

Investment Services:
Obtaining skilled independent advice on investment strategies is essential,
however, this is a specialised field and we do not have the training to offer
investment advice. To provide a service for clients we have formed two associations
with firms in whom we have confidence.
• First Mortgage Trust – based in Tauranga, the Trust invests clients’
money in a portfolio of first mortgages over properties spread throughout the
North Island. Each investor has a share of the entire security portfolio. Returns
are currently just over 8.13% per annum.
• Wealth Design – This company is based in Palmerston North and
is a member of the Portfolio Group. John Barber is happy to interview you at
our offices and to design and manage a personalised plan for you.
Other Services:
There is, of course, a limit to the range of services which small firms can
offer. Many fields of law are highly specialised and we are well aware of the
danger of “dabbling” in areas in which we have limited experience.
On the other hand, we want our clients to be well represented. With this in
mind we have built up a network of practitioners to whom we refer particular
problems. Aligned to this is our membership to “N.Z. Law Limited”,
an association of legal firms spread throughout New Zealand.
